Nicole Sherer-Welton, APRN
Nicole is a certified family nurse practitioner who began her career at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she became a medical-surgical unit charge registered nurse. She was part of the rotating medical-surgical team, covering general surgery, oncology, neurology, pulmonology, infectious disease, bariatrics, psychiatry and home care. In addition, Nicole served as a preceptor for students and as a mentor for her nursing colleagues.
After graduating magna cum laude with a master’s degree in nursing and becoming a certified family nurse practitioner, Nicole practiced medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology for eight years and trained with a Mohs/cosmetic surgeon for excision of skin cancers. She was the primary aesthetic dermatology provider for the practice working with neurotoxins, fillers and medical/surgical lasers.

Nicole joined Water’s Edge Dermatology after relocating from Indiana. She brings her extensive expertise as a family nurse practitioner in dermatology to patients in our Orange City and Oviedo offices.
