Jacqueline Russo, MD
Jacqueline Russo, MD Dermatopathologist
Dermatopathology involves the microscopic examination, description and interpretation of skin biopsies. The interpretation of skin specimens can be complicated and difficult, and includes a wide variety of disease processes including skin cancers, inflammatory dermatoses, infectious processes and lymphoproliferative diseases. Correlating the clinical presentation with the microscopic evaluation is crucial in the process of making an accurate diagnosis. Having an on-site Dermatopathologist facilitates this important clinical-pathologic correlation.
Double board-certified in dermatopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology, Dr. Jacqueline Russo leads the examination of skin biopsies for our patients from our headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL and completed a fellowship in dermatopathology and residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Russo earned a medical degree from the University of Miami and an undergraduate degree in microbiology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
